Our Workshop Second Saturday is a 4-hour workshop that was created 25 years ago by the founders of WIFE.org (a non-profit financial literacy group). It is held on the 2nd Saturday of every montH. FOR NOVEMBER 12TH ONLY THE WORKSHOP WILL BE held AT THE PEQUOT LIBRARY, 720 PEQUOT AVENUE, SOUTHPORT. It is designed to help participants explore the legal, financial, and emotional issues of divorce and gain a greater understanding of the process. This workshop is best suited for women contemplating or in the early stages of divorce.The workshop has 3 segments led by a family law attorney, a Certified Financial Divorce Analyst (CDFA™)and a licensed family therapist. Collectively, the leaders have assisted in over 300 divorce cases. Divorce can be confusing, challenging and devastating on every level. It is critical to help individuals gain a greater understanding and explore the options available to save time, money and grief, should they move forward in the process. Registration begins at 8:15am. The workshop runs from 8:30am to 12:30pm. There is a $35 fee (cash or check) but the value of the information provided is priceless.
